Check power supply connection and target board condition;


    Check if both of the emulator signal lights are ON;


    Check if you can find "Ez-embedded Digital Emulator" under Device Manager;


    Check if both "Ez-embedded.cfg" and "Ez-embedded.dll" files exist under ":\CCStudio_v3.1\cc\bin";       (CCStudio_v3.1=CCS3.1 default install directory);


    Check if "Ez-embedded.cfg" is chosen appropriately in Property menu;


    Check if port number is set to 0x240;


    If all of above are checked to be correct, turn off the target board power, wait for a moment and then       turn it back on. Try again till the board is completely restarted.
