TI DSP - XDS510 JTAG Emulator

Instruction of TMS320C5402 & CCS3.1 Setup

-   Install CCS3.1

-   Go to "Start -> Programs -> Setup CCStudio v3.1" and start CCS3.1 Setup program

-   Double click on ′C5402 XDS510 Emulator′, and then the dialog window should become as below.

-   Right click "5402 XDS510 Emulator" and click "Properties" in the pop-up menu, then "Connection     Properties" dialog window will pop up.

-   Select "Auto-generate board data file with extra configuration file" in the drag down menu under     "Connection Name & Data File", then click "BROWSE".

-   Open "Ez-embedded.cfg" in the default directory (C:\CCStudio_v3.1\cc\bin).

Note: If CCS is not installed under the same path, the path should be made proper correction.

- Click "Next", change I/O port value to 0x240.

-   Click on "Finish" and then click on "Save & Quit" to save the current setup

-   Exit CCS3.1 setup; double click the icon "CCStudio3.1" on the desktop to restart CCS.

-   The successful startup will give the window shown below.
